The Montague itself boasts a number of al fresco event spaces overlooking the gardens. The gardens are privately owned by The Bedford Estates and impeccably kept.

The Montague Street Gardens sit just beside The Montague. Despite being within walking distance of the British Museum they still manage to create the sense of an English country garden.
Capacity: 250 for a standing reception, 200 for a seated dinner
The Bedford Square Gardens
Bedford Square Gardens sit enclosed by a sandy path, surrounded by trees and bushes in a square just north of the British Museum. This is a very flexible garden and is perfect for weddings or civil partnerships, available for hire throughout the year. Hire is available on any day of the week and parties can continue here until 10pm.
Capacity: 500 for a standing reception or a seated dinner
