For the first time in almost 1,000 years, the Bayeux Tapestry has returned to Britain. From 10th September 2026 to 11th July 2027, the British Museum will display the original medieval embroidery in Bloomsbury, just moments from The Montague on the Gardens.

This Halloween, enjoy a spooky Afternoon Tea featuring seasonal treats and a themed cocktail. It's the perfect blend of autumnal flavours and eerie sophistication.

For those who don’t have the time to sit for a portrait session during their visit, or those who simply cannot wait to see themselves artfully presented alongside their beloved pooch, Julie Patmore will paint you and your pet in advance of your stay with us.
