The Beach Bar

Experience an unforgettable summer party at the award-winning Beach Bar at The Montague on the Gardens. With real sand, a beach-hut style thatched roof, tropical palm trees, and a beautiful beach backdrop, you'll feel like you're basking in the Bahamas, right in the heart of London.

Our chef will get you into the summertime spirit with a delicious range of BBQ options, followed by a tempting assortment of desserts, including assorted ice cream cones. Upon arrival, sip on refreshing cocktails served in coconuts, and enjoy a wide selection of wines, beers, and spirits. For an added touch of luxury, we offer unlimited drinks packages.

Our flexible spaces can accommodate parties of up to 160 guests, making it perfect for any celebration. After enjoying the Beach Bar, continue the festivities in the Great Russell Suite, where you can dance the night away with a DJ, a built-in dance floor, and a private bar.

Booking information

The Beach Bar is for exclusive hire or for hotel residents only from 12th May to 26th September 2025. June, July, and September are our peak months, and minimum spend varies depending on the date booked. Daytime slots run between 12 and 5pm and evening slots between 6 and 10pm. After-party options are available in the Great Russell Suite until 12am. Please enquire with our team if you require a longer session.
