    Breath-taking views

We are inspired by our beautiful surroundings, deep in the Scottish Highlands. Each of our bedrooms showcase panoramic views of the spectacular landscape, while the verdant countryside is home to a wide variety of wildlife, from Golden Eagle and Osprey to Red Deer Stag and Pine Martin, as well as an abundance of wild flowers, plants and trees.

    Itinerary

    • Eco walk - Walk through Montague Street Gardens to see our very own beehives. The guided walk also outlines the vital importance of bees within our ecology and their role in biodiversity and environmental sustainability.
    • Candle making - Moving indoors, you will mould and create your own beeswax candles.
    • Honey extraction - Uncap and jar your very own honey to take home.
    • Honey tasting - Explore a variety of honey and discover the taste of honey from different flora.
    • Afternoon Tea - After an enjoyable morning, relax and enjoy Afternoon Tea on our Leopard Bar Terrace overlooking the gardens and hives.

    Bees for Development

40% of the proceedings from this experience will go towards the Bees for Development charity, enabling our guests to make travel matter. Their mission is to harness the power of bees to achieve less poverty and more biodiversity. They focus on simple methods of sustainable beekeeping, always using local bees and local materials. They have helped many thousands of remote and poor families to earn essential income to meet their basic needs.
