Bee and honey masterclass

Itinerary

  • Eco walk: Walk through Montague Street Gardens to see our very own beehives. The guided walk also outlines the vital importance of bees within our ecology and their role in biodiversity and environmental sustainability.
  • Candle making: Moving indoors, you will mould and create your own beeswax candles.
  • Honey extraction: Uncap and jar your very own honey to take home.
  • Honey tasting: Explore a variety of honey and discover the taste of honey from different flora.
  • Afternoon Tea: After an enjoyable morning, relax and enjoy Afternoon Tea on our Leopard Bar Terrace overlooking the gardens and hives.

  • Please note this experience is only available from March to September 
  • This experience is only available when booked in conjunction with a room reservation
  • The course starts at 10am and bookings will require two-weeks' advance notice
  • Minimum number of four persons (from £880 for a group of four)
  • There is an additional charge of £330 per couple
  • All reservations require a £220 non-refundable deposit

Sustainable cooking class

Choose from British, French, Italian, Lebanese, or Spanish cuisine, and bring your family or friends along for a memorable, shared culinary adventure. Where you’ll save time on preparation and clearing up, you’ll spend every second of your private class learning everything you can about your chosen menu, developing useful techniques and skills that you can use again in your kitchen at home.

Terms & conditions

  • This experience is available Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays
  • Each private cooking lesson includes the use of high-quality ingredients and equipment, alongside a dedicated teacher and back-of-house staff to assist you
  • This unique experience can be enjoyed either at lunchtime, as a pre-theatre dinner, or as an evening dinner
  • This is a four-hour experience for a minimum of four people at a total cost of £1,455 including VAT
  • For any additional participant, there will be a surcharge of £206 per person including VAT
  • This experience is subject to availability and all enquiries must be made via email
  • A full, non-refundable pre-payment is required upon finalising your reservation
