The Montague is a popular choice for weddings and celebrations, where elegant surroundings, delicious menus and personal service combine to create the perfect event. From intimate gatherings to larger events for up to 200 guests, our dedicated team are on hand to take care of every thoughtful detail, and to ensure that your special event is a truly memorable experience.
Our venues
The stylish interior of The Montague is adorned with rich furnishings and exquisite antiques to create an atmosphere of sophisticated charm, with the added benefit of the spacious wood deck and terrace overlooking the beautiful private gardens of the Bedford Estate at the rear of the property.
Depending on the season, the Ski Lodge or Beach Bar are perfect for celebrations. and weddings in the summer can take advantage of The Montague Street Gardens and The Bedford Square Gardens.
The ceremony
We are licensed to hold wedding ceremonies and have three exceptional rooms for you to choose from. The large Great Russell Suite features a private bar and access outside to the wood deck, for more intimate affairs, the Woburn Suite and the Large Conservatory are ideal.
If you wish to hold your ceremony with us you will be required to contact the Superintendent Registrar at Camden Council to confirm they are able to attend and conduct the ceremony on your chosen date. Nearby churches include St George's Church and St-Giles-in-the-Fields.

Your wedding is a personal and romantic occasion, and you can be assured you will receive individual care and attention. Our wedding planners will work closely with you to help create the wedding that you have always imagined. We are experienced in both large weddings and smaller, more intimate affairs.

We will take care of delivering everything as promised, to enable you to have a wonderful time with your guests.
