The Ottoman Tour grants incredible insight into the great political entity of The Ottoman Empire and the majesty of its power. Narrated through a vast collection of artefacts that date as far back as the sixteenth century, learn of the birth, expansion, and demise of this remarkable empire. 

Conflict & Conservation

Our newest tour provides guests of The Montague with private access to the British Museum’s iconic galleries, for a full hour before it opens. In the company of a qualified guide, you will see and hear how the museum’s vast collection was evacuated in August 1939, as the Second World War loomed.
